Science of the Week 2/18/11

First, welcome to my fellow Crusaders, and thanks to all of you who've commented so far on my Borders Book Giveaway. As of the time I write this, I'm committed to buying two books from Borders this weekend. The more people who comment, the more books I'll buy!

Here are some of the science news articles that caught my attention this week:

Global warming may reroute evolution

Misconceptions about lie detection

Bringing biofuels to the pump

Rising seas and U.S. coastal cities

Control system that lets spacecraft guide themselves

Algae clean waste water and make biodiesel

FAQ on Microbes and Oil Spills

I normally don't post on the weekends, but tomorrow I'm participating in the Blog Chain. Please stop on by if you'd like to learn about my favorite literary couple.

Have a good weekend, everyone!

Thanks for the science links. IT's always good to keep on top of this stuff...kinda reminds me of a blog version of Science Friday by NPR.
