2017 Mid-Year Reading Update

Since we're halfway through the year, it's time for a quick update on my reading. I've been slacking off; I've only read 81 books so far. (Though that does include a box set.) This is behind where I should be if I want to read 180 books this year, but with all the various projects I'm working on, I don't think it will happen.

Here's the breakdown by genre:

Science Fiction: 11
Fantasy: 38
Other Fiction: 6
Non-Fiction: 26

A few that stand out to me include All of Us Were Sophie, You're More Powerful Than You Think, I Contain Multitudes, and The Paper Magician.

Do you have any favorite books from this year's reading? If so, feel free to share it in the comments.

Happy Fourth of July to everyone celebrating tomorrow! Our big celebration was yesterday with a parade and fireworks.

I read a couple blogger buddies' books in the past few months and finally remembered to mark some of them on Goodreads!

Thanks, Pat!

Alex, I don't always mark when I start a book, but I'm pretty good about indicating when it's done.
