The rain held off yesterday, so Eugene and I decided to spend our "date day" at the Chicago Botanic Garden. The last time we went there was in June, and that was with Alex, so naturally we spent more time in the Railroad Garden exhibit than anywhere else. It was nice to be able to tour the rest of the garden. Here are a few pictures we took (we both used my camera):

What a wonderful place. It would be great to do some writing there.
Deborah--Yes, it's a nice place to unwind. It's a bit far from our house to go there often, but when my husband lived closer to the garden, he would go there often.
Thanks, Michael! Eugene took the swan photo; the others are mine. Since he knows more about photography than I do, he coached me a bit.
I love the "Day Date." My wife and I try to cram in dates wherever we can -- we have the "Date At Home" and the "late night date."
I like the picture of the little watermelon (?) the best.
I love the pictures! It looks like a wonderful place. :)
