Science of the Week, 6/26/15

Here are some of the most interesting science news articles I read this week:

Newly discovered "ring of teeth" helps determine what common ancestor of moulting animals looked like (this is Halluigenia from the Cambrian)

NIH begins clinical trial of new medication for alcohol use disorder

Using directed energy propulsion for interstellar travel

Medication may stop drug and alcohol addiction

Inflaming the drive for suicide

Disabled people pilot a robot remotely with their thoughts

Island rodents take on nightmarish proportions
(I wonder if this explains the ROUS in The Princess Bride)

Heartbeat on a chip could improve pharmaceutical tests

Have a good weekend, and I'll see you Monday!
