  1. 2014 was the warmest? Really? It was one of the mildest summers we've ever had and more snow in the winter than I've ever seen.

  2. We had a rough winter and a mild summer too, but they're looking at overall temperatures. I think the report did mention that the Midwest was cooler than other parts of the globe.
