When I first started writing Seabird & Earthbow, I was still working fulltime at a university library. I used to keep folded-in-half index cards and "miniature golf pencils" in my pocket, for spur of the moment ideas. When I got home, I would transcribe the bits and pieces.
Later on, still at the univ, I was stuck at a computer all day but didn't dare use a word processing program to scribble notes, so I kept my trusty old index cards under the mouse pad.
Heh heh. You are so much cooler than me :)
ReplyDeleteCooler or crazier, Eric? ;)
ReplyDeleteI've been there before. :-)
